This is the first release from dOCUMENTO Records

Hello.

The creation of this cd was an amazing journey for both of us. Frankly, this is the first time that we've ever dabbled in the art of the music business, since we each came from totally different art schools. Though this compilation cd includes artists from very different artistic backgrounds, they have but one similar ability, they could produce 'sounds', and this is where we come into the scene. From the amazing sounds of accomplished musician, Joey and his group, Majam, to the indie sounds of the "Buzz Night" boys; from the experimental and legendary sounds of Lirio and his Elemento, to the electronica beats of Rubber Inc.; and to the sounds from acclaimed filmmaker and animator, Roxlee. With help from the government and fellow indie label, Furball Music, we were able, in some way, document the live, minimally manipulated, fleeting sounds of these artists in all their rawness, some structured, some not, whichever the case, its real. Of course, we choose the sounds because we are boss. The journey led us to the dark halls of Mayric's, to the superficial Malate, to the lush greeneries of the UP Lagoon, to second home Big Sky Mind, scouting for talents, garnered us the reputation of being the coolest versions of German Moreno. The collaborations? The collaborations are a whole new different story YOU have yet to hear.

We hope that in some small way our efforts offer encouragement to others, that with weekly allowance, gullible friends, and only hundreds of pesos worth of pirated sound editing software, you can set up your own whatever. Whatever.
